PHP/SQL - Contract Web Design

We are looking for a Web design guru who can build a professional, start-to-finish (design, advanced php, scripting to DB, DB development) website creation for a seed-stage start-up.

The site will be social-networking-esque and will be heavily DB-driven.

The budget for the project is $4,000, which will be paid in increments of $1,000 upon achievement of certain metrics. Note that the quality demands will be very high, so please only apply if you have top-tier credentials. No agencies. This position is ideal for a more junior person who has exception ability and academic pedigree. Preference towards top Computer Science program graduates.

Exceptional performance could lead to an equity stake in the company, and possibly a full-time position, if appropriate.

Note: The successful candidate will be able to take a generic blueprint for the functionality of the site, and use such to create an attractive, professional, and robust site/database. A great deal of creative lenience will be given, though successive calls/meetings will take place to adjust throughout the process.
