Open call for Web portfolio submissions-- Design & Build

City: Boston

Cambridge Web series production company seeks a creative and talented freelance Web designer to design,build, and launch an interactive nutrition website for the "tweenage" set. (Males and females approximately 9-13 years old.)

The site will feature streaming video of a scripted cooking Web series, as well as recipes, nutrition facts, games, and viewer-submitted content.

Web designer must have expert knowledge of Flash and HTML and have an online portfolio of sample work.

Knowledge of SEO methods a huge plus.

Particularly talented and motivated students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply, but references are a must!

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing Web sites for kids, tweens, and/or teens.

Submissions without links to online work will not be considered.

Please note that this is *not* an on-site position. The work would be done at your home using your own software.
